Sono Skygunners (KBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American 206cm center Jaylen Johnson (college: Louisville, agency: Octagon Europe) for season 2025-26. He played most recently at X-Rayted (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In only one TBT game he just recently played he had 6 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block last season. He also played for Houston Rig Hands in U.S. semi-pro league Big3.
In 2021 (four years after his graduation) he was drafted by Motor City Cruise (G-League) in first round (8th overall).
The former University of Louisville star is in his ninth season in pro basketball.
Johnson is a very experienced player. Thanks to Johnson's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in nine different countries. He has played professionally in Israel (Hapoel Holon and Hapoel Haifa), Lebanon (Byblos), Taiwan (Taipei Taishin Mars), Turkey (Yalovaspor), Uruguay (Nacional), NBA (LA Clippers), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Windy City Bulls), Big3 (Ball Hogs and Bivouac) and NBA Summer League (Indiana Pacers).
