Rayshaun Hammonds is a newcomer at Mobis Phoebus

Rayshaun Hammonds

Hyundai Mobis Phoebus (KBL) have added 26-year-old American center Rayshaun Hammonds to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player on the team, with Panamanian Eric Romero signing earlier. Hammonds was the top scorer at Suwon KT Sonicboom (KBL) last season, averaging 17.2ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.1spg in 61 games. He helped the team reach the cup final and league semifinals, earning him the title of League Player of the Week and a spot on the Asia-Basket.com All-South Korean League Second Team. Hammonds also played 6 games in the East Asia Super League, averaging 18.3ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.5apg, and 1.2spg. In the previous summer (2024), he played for Santeros (BSN) in the Puerto Rican league.
Hammonds is a very experienced player. Thanks to Hammonds' pro career, he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America) in seven different countries. He has played professionally in Germany (BG Goettingen), Korea, Latvia (VEF Riga), Puerto Rico, Russia (Avtodor), NBA G League (Indiana Mad Ants), and NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors).
Hammonds' team finished as regular season runner-up in Puerto Rican BSN Group A in 2024. He was selected to Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Honorable Mention during the same year.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 and it'll be his sixth season as a pro player.
