Sakers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Paris Bass (207-1995, college: Detroit) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Egis made 9 blocks.
