Wonju DB - KCC Egis 83-95

Egis outrebounded Wonju DB 42-24 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Egis looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. The former international forward Kyochang Song (200-1996) contributed with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Egis players scored in double figures. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) answered with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) added 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Wonju DB. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

LG Sakers - Suwon KT 78-70

Sonicboom was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 21 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American power forward Paris Bass (207-1995, college: Detroit) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and Nigerian center Micheal Eric (211-1988, college: Temple) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
