The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Wonju DB (40-13) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by ninth ranked Anyang (17-34) 96-68. Anyang made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Anyang made 7 blocks. The former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Jamil Wilson (201-1990, college: Marquette) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for Wonju DB. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains ninth place with 17-34 record. Wonju DB at the other side still keeps top position with 13 games lost. Anyang are looking forward to face higher ranked Suwon KT (#3) in Busan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wonju DB will have a break next round.

However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Skygunners. American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and Jeff Withey chipped in 20 points and 18 rebounds. Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 31 rebounds and 8 assists. Wonju DB maintains first place with 40-13 record. Sono SG at the other side keeps the eighth position with 35 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The visitors from Changwon managed to secure only one-point victory 86-85. However their fans expected much easier game. Assem Marei nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Gaige Prim came up with 24 points and 8 rebounds for Mobis Phoebus in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sakers have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. LG Sakers maintains second place with 36-16 record having five points less than leader Wonju DB. Mobis Phoebus lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 26 games lost. LG Sakers will meet Seoul Knights (#4) on the road in the next round. Mobis Phoebus will play against KCC Egis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 41: bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders were beaten by Seoul Knights on the road 84-75. Suwon KT won against KoGas on its own court 85-81. KCC Egis unfortunately lost to Seoul Thunders in a road game 87-96. Seoul Knights were rolled over Suwon KT at home 80-99.
The most impressive performance of 41th round was 41 points (!!!), 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by Paris Bass of Suwon KT.
