Ninth-ranked KCC Egis (5-10) made lots of trouble for first ranked Anyang (12-3) in Jeonju on Wednesday. The visitors from Anyang managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Anyang outrebounded KCC Egis 43-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international guard Junhyeong Byeon (186-1996) fired 22 points and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anyang have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-3 record. KCC Egis at the other side keep the ninth place with ten games lost. Anyang are looking forward to face Seoul Knights (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KCC Egis will play against Wonju DB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Joon-Young Choi contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for Mobis Phoebus. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains eighth position with 6-9 record. Mobis Phoebus at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. Seoul Knights will play against higher ranked Goyang (#4) in Daegu in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mobis Phoebus will play at home against LG Sakers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Anyang. First ranked Anyang faced their biggest opponent Goyang. Host Anyang (12-3) defeated guests from Daegu (8-5) 86-79. Omari Spellman had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Anyang's coach Seung-Ki Kim used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Dedric Lawson responded with 30 points and 6 rebounds. Anyang have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-3 record. Loser Goyang dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. Anyang will meet at home Seoul Knights (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Goyang will play against Seoul Knights (#8) and hope to secure a win.

Rest of the games of round 10 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
LG Sakers defeated Wonju DB in Changwon 81-77. Suwon KT beat Wonju DB at home 88-78. Bottom-ranked KoGas destroyed Seoul Thunders on the opponent's court 106-75. Mobis Phoebus managed to outperform KCC Egis in a home game 85-68. Wonju DB recorded a loss to Seoul Knights on the road 85-81. Suwon KT was defeated by LG Sakers on its own court 71-83.
The best stats of 10th round was 21 points and 10 rebounds by Assem Marei of LG Sakers.



Wonju DB - LG Sakers 77-81

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Wonju DB (6-8) was defeated at home by fourth ranked LG Sakers (9-6) 81-77 on Tuesday. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) chipped in 10 points and 19 rebounds during the contest. Five LG Sakers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Dewan Hernandez (211-1997, college: Miami, FL) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. LG Sakers moved-up to third place. Wonju DB lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Suwon KT. LG Sakers will meet Seoul Thunders (#5) on the road in the next round. Wonju DB will play against KCC Egis in Jeonju and hope to secure a win.

There was an upset when higher ranked Seoul Thunders (7-9) were rolled over at home by bottom-ranked KoGas (4-9) 106-75 on Friday. KoGas shot 63.8 percent from the field and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. KoGas outrebounded Seoul Thunders 36-19 including a 30-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 68.4 percentage. KoGas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest.
