Korea Gas Corporation (KBL) inked 32-year old American 201cm forward Murphy Holloway (college: Ole Miss), agency: Octagon Europe for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Inchon as he has played here before. Holloway played this summer at Bleed Green (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. The last season he played at Goyang Orions in South Korean KBL where in 55 games he averaged impressive 15.5ppg, 11.0rpg, 2.9apg, 2.1spg and 1.0bpg. He was also voted League Player of the Week (4 times).
Holloway is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Holloway has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), France (Cholet Basket), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Israel (Galil Gilboa, Maccabi Rishon, Hapoel Kfar Saba/Shalom and Elitzur Kiryat Ata), Italy (Trieste), Philippines (North Port), Turkey, South Korea (KoGas) and The Basketball Tournament (Armored Athlete). His team made it to the Korean KBL Semifinals in 2022. He was selected to Asia-Basket.com Korean KBL All-Imports Team in 2020 and 2022.
Holloway graduated from University of Mississippi in 2013 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
