Omari Spellman signs at Anyang KGC

Defending champion Anyang KGC (KBL) landed 24-year old American 207cm power forward Omari Spellman, college: Villanova for new season. Spellman played most recently at Chicago Bulls in the NBA Summer League.
Three years ago he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in first round (30th overall). He attended Villanova University until 2018 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
Spellman has played previously professionally in NBA (Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves) and NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Erie BayHawks).
Among many awards he won NCAA championship title in 2018. He was also voted to All-Big East Freshman of the Year back in 2018 at his college time.
