KB Stars Seoul (WKBL) agreed terms with 33-year old American ex-international center Kara Braxton (198-102kg-83, college: Georgia). She played last season at Maccabi Ashdod in Israeli D1 league. In 12 games she had 9.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.7apg. Braxton helped them to win the League title (twice). She also played that season for Liaoning Hengye in Chinese WCBA where in 32 games she recorded very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Honorable Mention.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Braxton was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Import of the Year back in 2011. She was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2006.
Braxton is quite experienced player. Her career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in five different countries. Braxton tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Italy, Poland (Wisla Can-Pack), Russia (Nadezhda Orenburg), Turkey (Besiktas, TED Ankara and Ormanspor) and WNBA (Dallas Wings, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury).
Braxton attended University of Georgia until 2004 and it will be her 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
