Kembangan - Whye Nam 47-54 There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Kembangan (5-8) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Whye Nam (3-2) 54-47 on Friday. Whye Nam forced 30 Kembangan turnovers. The best player for the winners was Jacqueline Chu who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Akashah Nurul chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Shixuan Yang produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Ivon Kong added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Whye Nam moved-up to seventh place. Kembangan at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost.
