Tan's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Irish Tan had a very impressive game in the last round for SG Basketball and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds, while her team was edged out by Whye Nam (#9, 2-2) 59-58. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. SG Basketball moved-up to the 12th position in Singapore WNBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just one victory. Tan turned to be SG Basketball's top player in her first season with the team. Tan has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 16.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.6rpg) and assists (2nd best: 3.8apg).

Second best performed player last round was Kindra Sim of Adroit SG. She is a in her first season at Adroit SG. In the last game Sim recorded impressive 13 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Adroit SG to edge the lower-ranked Jumpshot (#10, 2-3) by 2 points 57-55. This victory allowed Adroit SG to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Sim is a newcomer at Adroit SG and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Jia-Min Lim of league's leader Qian Xi Red. Lim scored 18 points and passed five assists. She was a key player of Qian Xi Red, leading her team to a 75-48 easy win against the lower-ranked Qian Xi Blue (#8, 2-2). Qian Xi Red started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Lim turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Lim has a great season in Singapore. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 11.8ppg (8th best) and assists with 3.6apg (4th best).
