Pauline Ang gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore WNBL

Pauline Ang (178-C-1994) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Qian Xi Red and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 28-year old center had a double-double of 15 points and sixteen rebounds, while her team outclassed Siglap White (#5, 3-1) with 39-point margin 66-27. It allowed Qian Xi Red to jump to the first place in the Singapore WNBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Qian Xi Red already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Ang turned to be Qian Xi Red's top player in her first season with the team. Ang has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 13.3ppg. Ang is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.5rpg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 64.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Qian Xi Red's star - Lydia Ang. Ang impressed basketball fans with 24 points and 5 assists. Of course together with Ang she helped Qian Xi Red with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Adroit SG (#7, 2-2) 96-41. This victory allowed Qian Xi Red to move up to 1st position in the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Ang is a newcomer at Qian Xi Red and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#1).

The third best performed player last round was Tabitha Tay of Radin Mas (#4). Tay scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She was a key player of Radin Mas, leading her team to a 74-47 easy win against the lower-ranked SG Basketball (#11, 1-3). Radin Mas needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Tay has a great season in Singapore. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.0apg (9th best).
