WNBL Round 3: Jumpshot is defeated by Radin Mas

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Jumpshot (1-1) on the court of Radin Mas on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Radin Mas 57-49. Radin Mas forced 24 Jumpshot turnovers. It was a great evening for Tabitha Tay who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Michelle Chew helped adding 13 points and 4 steals. Radin Mas' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Olivia Lee with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Radin Mas is looking forward to face SG Basketball (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Jumpshot will play against Siglap Black and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a home loss of Qian Xi Blue (2-1) against Hillcrest Grays (2-0) on Sunday night. Host Qian Xi Blue was crushed by Hillcrest Grays in 57-37. It was an exceptional evening for Xiuxiu Yao who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Kai-Ting See accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Hillcrest Grays' coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wei-Bin Koh came up with 28 points and 6 rebounds for Qian Xi Blue in the defeat. Hillcrest Grays will play against Whye Nam (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Qian Xi Blue will have a break next round.
Siglap Black (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed SG Basketball (1-2) 82-39. The best player for the winners was Si-Xu Vongsuvanish who scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Irish Tan who recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Siglap Black will meet Jumpshot (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SG Basketball will play against Radin Mas and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Siglap White destroyed Blazers on the opponent's court 65-41. Winless Kembangan lost to undefeated Qian Xi Red in a home game 27-98. Adroit SG rolled over Blazers on the road 68-30. Winless Proform were crushed by Radin Mas on its own court 29-69. Qian Xi Blue beat Kembangan in a road game 40-35.
