Pei-Sze Chia gets MVP of the Week award for Singapore WNBL (by Hoops Agents)

Pei-Sze Chia had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Qian Xi Blue and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The had a double-double of 23 points and twenty rebounds, while her team beat Whye Nam (#13, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 64-58. Qian Xi Blue is placed at 2nd position in Singapore WNBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Qian Xi Blue won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jia-Min Lim of Qian Xi Red. Lim impressed basketball fans with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led Qian Xi Red to another comfortable win outscoring Blazers (0-1) 104-26. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Lim is a newcomer at Qian Xi Red and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#3). She also recorded 5.0 assists per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Qian Xi Red's star - Choy-Ting Tang. Tang scored 14 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Qian Xi Red, helping her team with a 104-26 easy win against Blazers (#10, 0-1). Qian Xi Red has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Tang also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Tang as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader.
