Adroit - TRT Widodo (TBSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American center Tyrone Marshall (203-100kg-92, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo). In his first game he scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Despite his good performance his new team lost to Kabayan 89-91. He played recently at AMK Bravehearts in Singapore NBL league.
Among other achievements Marshall's team made it to the Pro-Am SBL Semifinals in 2016. He received also All-RMAC 2nd Team award back in 2015 at his college time.
Marshall has played also professionally in Spain (Pozo Soton BVM 2012 Mieres).
He attended Colorado State-Pueblo until 2015 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Tyrone Marshall is a strong and very athletic player that has both size and speed, which he uses on both defense and offense. On defense Marshall has no problem switching from post player to guard due to long arms that challenge shots in the air and disrupts players while dribbling. Marshall has a great shot range from the mid range to the three-point line. Great face up player that can finish at the rim. Passes well of rebounds. Can play stretch forward.

Coach Neo Beng Siang was all smiles in front of over 2,000 fans at the OCBC Arena and declared that this was a display of "real basketball". "We did well on both ends. There were a couple of sloppy turnovers, but we committed only nine in the end and that's really good," he said.    [read more]
