Singapore wrapped up their SEA Games 2011 campaign in style. They drubbed Vietnam to clinch the fifth position at the tournament. Desmond Wei Jie Oh (176-F-86) stepped up with 15 points to pace the winners.
Singapore grabbed the initiative right from the start. They secured a 24:12 lead after ten minutes. Singapore continued to mount the pressure in the second quarter. Singapore boosted the margin to as many as 22 points at the interval 48:26. Singapore stretched the gap in the third term. They cleared off to an unassailable 33 points and never looked back en route to the win. Lim Wai Sian (F/C) provided 14 points, while Wong Wei Long (172-G-88) had 11 points in the win. Hoang answered with 11 points for Vietnam. Huynh Hai Nguyen and Han Minh Trieu posted 8 points each in the loss.

SAFSA edge Adroit to clinch NBL title - 14 days ago
SAFSA celebrated NBL title. They nipped Adroit 97:95 in the championship game on Sunday. Goh Kok Chiang produced 23 points and 33 rebounds to lead the winners. SAFSA posted a 48:45 halftime lead. They unloaded 31 points in the third term to open a 9-point lead at the final break. Adroit pulled within striking distance in the fourth term but SAFSA held on to capture the title. Adroit and SAFSA reached the Final beating their opponents in the semifinal clashes. SAFSA overcame Siglap 74-68 as Kok Chiang Delvin Goh stepped up with 18 points and Shiek Ridwan Shiek Bachamian netted 14. Kian Huat Steven Khoo replied with 23 in a loss and Shawn Fang Ching Lim had 18. Adroit meanwhile edged SBPHK Hornets 84-67. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Round 7 most important game was a victory of Siglap over 4th placed SG Bball 69-62 on Wednesday night. Siglap have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. SG Bball at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Tagawa.
