Hillcrest Grays clinch 2016 WNBL title as they defended their title. Once again like last year they overcame Qian Xi in the Final game, this time 54-41. Last year Hillcrest Grays won WNBL title as they posted a 41-37 win over Qianxi in the Final game. Earlier the team posted comfortable wins in the Semifinal series.
In the game for the 3rd place Adroit edged Kembangan Chai-Chee CSC 70-59.
