Cooper's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

American Guard Gabby Cooper (178-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Jeddah Athletes and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had a double-double of 38 points and 21 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Jeddah (#4, 0-10) with 57-point margin 90-33. Jeddah Ath. maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Saudi Arabian D1. Jeddah Ath. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. In the team's last game Cooper had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be Jeddah Ath.'s top player in her first season with the team. Syracuse University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cooper is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.9rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg and 5.6spg.

Second best performed player last round was Taylor Jones (173-G-1997) of league's second-best Game Masters. She is U.S. Virgin Islands guard in her first season at Game Masters. In the last game Jones recorded an impressive double-double of 36 points and 22 rebounds. Bad luck as Game Masters lost that game 67-73 to slightly higher-ranked Jeddah Utd (#2, 5-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Game Masters still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Game Masters managed to get this year. Jones is a newcomer at Game Masters and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 43.4ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 20.4rpg and 4.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kwanza Murray (170-G-1996) of league's second-best Jeddah United. Murray got into 30-points club by scoring 39 points in the last round. She went also for fourteen rebounds and four assists. She was a key player of Jeddah Utd, leading her team to a 73-67 win against #2 ranked Game Masters. Jeddah Utd needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Murray has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 10 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 35.6ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 9.8rpg (4th best) and assists with 4.3apg (3rd best).
