Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Qadisiyah (8-2) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Al Ula (10-0) 63-53. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Qadisiyah. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Sara Dickey (177-1995, college: Evansville) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (made all of her thirteen free throws !!!). Forward Awrad Alfaleh (170-1997) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American-South Sudanese guard Delicia Washington (178-1997, college: Clemson) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds for Al Qadisiyah. Undefeated Al Ula have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record which they share with defeated Al Qadisiyah. Al Qadisiyah at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost.
An interesting game for Jeddah Ath. (5-5) which hosted in 4th ranked Jeddah (0-10). Third ranked Jeddah Ath. had an easy win 90-33. American guard Gabby Cooper (178, college: Syracuse) had a triple-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 21 rebounds, 6 assists and 14 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Yusra Abuljadayel chipped in 25 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Alaa Ali responded with 4 points and 10 rebounds. Jeddah's coach gave up on the game allowing to play fifteen players seeing no chance for a win. Jeddah Ath. moved-up to second place, which they share with Jeddah Utd. Jeddah at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
An interesting game for Jeddah Utd (5-5) which played road game in against their biggest opponent Game Masters (2-8). Third ranked Jeddah Utd managed to get a 6-point victory 73-67. Kwanza Murray notched a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 36 points (!!!), 22 rebounds and 6 assists by Taylor Jones did not help to save the game for Game Masters. Game Masters' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jeddah Utd moved-up to second place, which they share with Jeddah Ath. Loser Game Masters keep the second position with eight games lost.
