American Gabby Cooper (178-G) had a great game in the last round for Jeddah Athletes and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The guard had a double-double of 35 points and 20 rebounds, while her team edged out Game Masters (#2, 2-8) 74-70. Jeddah Ath. maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Saudi Arabian D1. Jeddah Ath. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-5 record. Cooper turned to be Jeddah Ath.'s top player in her first season with the team. Syracuse University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cooper is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.9rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg and 5.6spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young U.S. Virgin Islands guard Taylor Jones (173-G-1997) of second-ranked Game Masters. Jones impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 48 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Game Masters was edged by slightly lower-ranked Jeddah Ath. (#3, 5-5) 74-70. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Game Masters still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Game Masters managed to get this year. Jones is a newcomer at Game Masters and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 43.4ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 20.4rpg and 4.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was Awrad Alfaleh (170-F-1997) of top-ranked Al Ula. Alfaleh scored 19 points. She was a key player of Al Ula, leading her team to a 70-26 easy win against #4 ranked Jeddah. Al Ula have amazing season winning all 10 games without a single defeat in Group B. Alfaleh turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Alfaleh has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 10 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (7th best) and assists with 3.2apg (6th best).
