In 2010 he was drafted by Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) in second round (43rd overall). He graduated from West Virginia University and it is his 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball. Ebanks is quite experienced player. Ebanks' career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in fourteen different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Ebanks has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), France (Champagne), Greece (Iraklis), Israel (Bnei Hertzeliya), Italy (Mens Sana), Japan (NeoPhoenix), Mexico (Halcones Rojos), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros, Leones, Atleticos, Brujos and Indios), United Arab Emirates (Al Sharjah), Dominican Republic (Reales), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Springfield A. and Grand Rapids Gold), Big3 (Tri-State) and The Basketball Tournament (Best Virginia). Among many awards his team won Bahrain League Regular Season in 2024. He was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Import Player of the Year back in 2023. He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Al Fidaa. Tags : DEVIN EBANKS, HOMS AL FIDAA, SYRIAN BASKETBALL, SYRIAN TRANSACTIONS |
