Saudi Arabian D1 round 8 best performance: Taylor Jones (by Hoops Agents)

U.S. Virgin Islands Guard Taylor Jones (173-G-1997) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Game Masters, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 44 points and 23 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Jeddah (#4, 0-8) with 38-point margin 85-47. Game Masters maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Saudi Arabian D1. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 6 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 64.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Game Masters' top player in her first season with the team. Former Oakland University star has very solid stats this year. Jones is league's best scorer averaging so far 43.8ppg, leads league in rebounds with 20.8rpg and is league's best passer with 4.6apg. Jones is in league's top in and averages impressive 58.2% FGP.

It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Al Qadisiyah consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Washington is one of the most experienced players at Al Qadisiyah and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#4). She also registered 9.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Sara Dickey (177-G/F-1995) of league's top team Al Ula. Dickey scored 21 points. She was a key player of Al Ula, leading her team to a 68-51 easy win against #2 ranked Jeddah Utd. Al Ula have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat in Group B. Dickey turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Dickey has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.0ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 8.4rpg (8th best) and assists with 3.4apg (6th best). She also has 2.1spg, a FGP of 56.9% and 3PT: 46.8%.
