Very significant was Game Masters' (#2, 2-6) victory against 4th ranked Jeddah (0-8) 85-47. Game Masters held Jeddah to an opponent 24.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners and had 23 for 37 from the free-throw line, while Jeddah only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Jeddah 61-42 including a 46-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by Jeddah helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands guard Taylor Jones (173-1997, college: Oakland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 23 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and Abeer Alhamidi who added 10 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Lamees Alhashimi responded with 4 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Game Masters maintains second position with 2-6 record having five points less than leader Al Ula. Jeddah at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Game Masters are looking forward to face league's leader Al Qadisiyah in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Qadisiyah's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds by American guard Gabby Cooper (178, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Jeddah Ath.. Al Qadisiyah have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Jeddah Ath. lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with five games lost.
