Best players of Saudi Arabian D1 round 6 (by Hoops Agents)

U.S. Virgin Islands Taylor Jones (173-G-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Game Masters and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 36 points and 23 rebounds, while her team lost the game against the league's best team Al Ula (#1, 7-0) 52-72. Game Masters maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Saudi Arabian D1. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 6 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 51.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Game Masters' top player in her first season with the team. Oakland University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jones is league's best scorer averaging so far 43.7ppg and leads league in rebounds with 20.4rpg. Jones is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 4.1apg) and averages solid 57.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American guard Gabby Cooper (178-G) of Jeddah Athletes. Cooper impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Jeddah Ath. lost that game 49-68 to slightly higher-ranked Jeddah Utd (#2, 4-3). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Jeddah Ath. still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Cooper is a newcomer at Jeddah Ath. and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.3ppg (#5). Her other stats are also decent: 14.6rpg and 4.1apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Sara Dickey (177-G/F-1995) of top-ranked Al Ula. Dickey showcased her all-around game by recording 24 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Al Ula, leading her team to a 72-52 easy win against #2 ranked Game Masters. Al Ula have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat in Group A. Dickey turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Dickey has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.4ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 9.0rpg (6th best) and assists with 3.4apg (6th best). She also has 2.4spg, a FGP of 56.5% and 3PT: 42.9%.
