Jeddah Utd signs Kwanza Murray ex Bahman

Jeddah United (D1) has signed 29-year-old American 170cm guard Kwanza Murray from Lincoln, PA.

Murray started the season at Bahman in the Iranian Superleague. Last season, she played at Municipal Puente Alto in the Chilean LNF, where she averaged 22.0ppg, 6.6rpg, 2.3apg, and 1.7spg in 16 games. She helped her team win the regular season and reach the final. Murray was voted to Latinbasket.com Chilean Liga Femenina Apertura All-Defensive Team, All-Imports Team, and League Player of the Week.

Murray is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Murray has played professionally in Chile (CD Esc. Alemana Paillaco), Ireland (Brunell), Portugal (Vagos) and Czech Republic (Brandys).

Among many awards, she was selected to Eurobasket.com Czech Republic ZBL All-Imports Team in 2024.
She graduated from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and is currently in her sixth season in pro basketball.
