Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) signed 32-year old American forward Alfonzo McKinnie (202cm-98kg-1992, college: Green Bay) for upcoming 2025-26 season. McKinnie played last season at Al-Najma in Bahrain Premier League. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. McKinnie also spent pre-season at Storks (B1 League) in Japanese league.
He is quite experienced player. McKinnie has played in six different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Italy (Sassari), Luxembourg (Berbourg), Mexico (Rayos de McKinniermosillo), NBA (Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, GS Warriors, LA Lakers and Toronto Raptors), South Korea (Egis) and NBA G League (Raptors 905 Mississauga, Windy City Bulls and Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico).
He played in the final of NBA in 2019.
McKinnie graduated from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 2015 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. He played also for Eastern Illinois University for 2 years.
