China - Saudi Arabia 93-88

China spoiled Saudi Arabia’s their FIBA Asia Cup 2025 home start as they narrowly defeated the hosts 93-88. China survived an initial win at the at the King Abdullah Sports City on Tuesday.
The favorites opened the game with a 30-22 run and led 10 points at the halftime. Moreover, China increased to 15, but allowed the opponents to reduce the gap. Saudi Arabia came up with a 23-13 run in the last stanza for the final result.
Jinqiu Hu (211-C-1997) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Rui Zhao (195-SG-1996) netted 19. Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman (196-G-1994, college: Michigan) answered with high 32 points in the losing effort.
