Summary of the Case:

The American Player, Jonathon Simmons (198-G-1989, college: Houston), filed a claim against the Saudi Arabian Club, Ohod Saudi Arabian, for unpaid amounts under a settlement agreement. The Claimant submitted that the Respondent only paid one of the four payment instalments agreed upon in the settlement agreement. This failure to comply with the settlement agreement resulted in the Respondent’s additional obligation to pay a contractual penalty to the Claimant. The Respondent did not participate in the proceedings. The claim was upheld.
