Best players of Saudi Arabian SBL round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

American Donte McGill (190-G-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Nasr Riyadh and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 29-year old guard had a double-double of 34 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Al Khewaildia (#10, 0-10), the league's bottom-ranked team 84-77. Al Nasr maintains the 4th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. They are still close to the very top. Al Nasr would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. McGill turned to be Al Nasr's top player in his first season with the team. Florida International University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McGill is league's best scorer averaging so far 36.7ppg. McGill is in league's top in and averages solid 2.3spg and 65.3% FGP. Worth to mention McGill played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Ashford Golden (195-G-1995) of Al Salam. Golden impressed basketball fans with 39 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Al Salam to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Ohod (#8, 2-8) 91-70. This victory allowed Al Salam to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Golden is one of the most experienced players at Al Salam and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Mid-America Christian University alumni Golden played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was another Al Salam's star - Senegalese Mamadou Samb (210-C/F-1989). Samb scored 25 points and grabbed 23 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Al Salam, helping his team with a 91-70 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Ohod (#8, 2-8). The chances of Al Salam ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Samb could help Al Salam to bring them higher in the standings. Samb has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.2ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 14.5rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.0bpg and a FGP of 59.5%.

7. Perry Jones III (211-F-1991) of Al Ahli - 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Dhieu Abwok (196-G-2001) of Al Safa - 30 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Sylven Landesberg (198-G/F-1990) of Al-Ula - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Keron DeShields (190-PG-1992) of Al Ittihad - 21 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists
