Saudi Arabian SBL round 6 best performance: Donte McGill (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Donte McGill (190-G-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Al Nassr Riyadh, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 29-year old player was the main contributor (41 points, nine rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Al Khaleej (#8, 1-5) 84-76. Al Nassr maintains the 3rd position in Saudi Arabian SBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Nassr already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game McGill had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Al Nassr's top player in his first season with the team. Former Florida International University star has very solid stats this year. McGill is league's best scorer averaging so far 40.0ppg. McGill is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.8spg,68.8% FGP and 41.9% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention McGill played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Shadell Millinghaus (188-G-1994) of Al Fateh Al Hasa. Millinghaus had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Fateh lost that game 72-79 to slightly higher-ranked Al Safa (#6, 2-4). This loss caused Al Fateh to drop to 7th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Al Fateh managed to get this year. Millinghaus is a newcomer at Al Fateh, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.5ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 11.3rpg and 5.3apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Donte Clark (194-G-1994) of Al Salam (#5). Clark got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and nine assists. He was a key player of Al Salam, leading his team to a 92-59 easy win against Al Khewaildia (#10, 0-6). Al Salam needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Clark has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.3ppg (2nd best) and assists with 5.3apg (3rd best).
