McGill's 31-point game gives him Player of the Week award

29-year old American guard Donte McGill (190-G-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Nassr Riyadh and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 31 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Al Nassr in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Safa (#6, 2-4) with 27-point margin 102-75. Al Nassr maintains the 3rd position in Saudi Arabian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Nassr already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game McGill had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Nassr's top player in his first season with the team. Florida International University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McGill is league's best scorer averaging so far 40.0ppg. McGill is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8spg,68.8% FGP and 41.9% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention McGill played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Fuquan Niles (211-C-1995, agency: Interperformances) of Ohod Medina. He is American center in his first season at Ohod. In the last game Niles recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 22 rebounds. It was enough for Ohod to edge Al Khewaildia (#10, 0-6) by 2 points 94-92. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Ohod keeps 9th position. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Ohod managed to get this year. Niles is a newcomer at Ohod and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Donte Clark (194-G-1994) of Al Salam (#5). Clark scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Al Salam, leading his team to a 72-66 win against the lower-ranked Al Khaleej (#8, 1-5). Al Salam needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Clark has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.3ppg (2nd best) and assists with 5.3apg (3rd best).
