Saudi Arabian SBL round 3 best performance: Darius Hall

American Guard Darius Hall (188-G) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Al Ahli Jeddah, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player had a double-double of 42 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Al Khewaildia (#10, 0-3) with 40-point margin 102-62. It allowed Al Ahli to consolidate first place in the Saudi Arabian SBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Al Ahli already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Hall had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Ahli's top player in his first season with the team. Former Bryant & Stratton College - Ohio star has very solid stats this year. Hall is in league's top in points (2nd best: 34.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.3rpg), assists (9th best: 3.7apg) and averages impressive 71.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Donte Clark (194-G-1994) of Al Salam. Clark had a very good evening with a triple-double of 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Bad luck as Al Salam lost that game 81-94 to Al Ittihad (3-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Clark is a newcomer at Al Salam, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 9.7rpg and 4.7apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Donte McGill (190-G-1995) of Al Nassr Riyadh (#3). McGill got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for twelve rebounds . He was a key player of Al Nassr, leading his team to a 92-82 win against Al Fateh (#7, 0-2). Al Nassr started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. McGill turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. McGill has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 41.3ppg (best scorer). McGill attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
