Al Ittihad Tripoli (D1) agreed terms with 32-year old American guard Antwan Scott (185cm-81kg-1992, college: Colorado State) for new 2024-25 season. Scott played last season at Al Hilal in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 21 games he had very impressive stats: 22.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 9.7apg (leader !!!) and 2.7spg (leader !!!). He helped them to win the league title and the cup. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com Saudi Arabian SBL All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (3 times).
Scott has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Scott tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Cyprus (Keravnos), Finland (KTP-Basket), France (ALM Evreux), Greece (Aris), Holland, Latvia (VEF Riga), Syria and Angola (Atletico Petroleos de Luanda).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Import Player of the Year in 2022.
Scott graduated from Colorado State in 2016 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: Grambling State University, University of Idaho.
