The Capital (D1) have added 30-year-old American power forward Brittany Hodges (college: Furman) to their roster for the 2023-24 season. Hodges, who stands at 185cm, is the second foreign player on the team, with ISV Taylor Jones having signed earlier. Hodges most recently played for Sevenoaks Suns in the British WEABL league. In 17 WBBL games last season, she averaged 10.3 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game.
She is a highly experienced player, thanks to Hodges' professional career. She has played on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia, and North America) in six different countries. Previously, she played professionally in Australia for the Tornadoes and Slammers, in Germany for TSV 1880 and Osnabrueck, in Luxembourg for Contern, in Portugal for Olivais, and in Puerto Rico for Cangrejeras. In 2023, her team reached the semifinals of the English WBBL.
Among the many awards she received, she was voted to the Eurobasket.com Luxembourg League All-Imports Team in 2018.
In 2018, she was voted to the Eurobasket.com Luxembourg League All-Imports Team, receiving numerous awards.
She graduated from Furman University in 2015, and this will be her ninth season in professional basketball.
