Julia Gladkova agreed terms with Jeddah Utd

Jeddah United (D1) has strengthened their roster by adding Julia Gladkova, a 30-year-old Russian ex-international forward who stands at 185cm. Gladkova began the season playing for E.Holon in the Israeli D1 league.

Last summer, she played for Halcones in the Mexican LNBPF, where she averaged 12.2 points per game, 3.5 rpg, 2.7 apg, and 1.1 spg in 22 games.

She was also part of the Russian international program for several years. She represented the Russian Senior National Team from 2014 to 2019 and had previously played for the Under 20 National Team in 2014.

Five years ago, she represented Russia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) in Serbia and Latvia. Her statistics during that event were as follows: 4 games played with an average of 0.3 points per game.
She is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Israel, Mexico (Astros and Lobas), Romania (Satu Mare), Slovakia (Nova Ves), Spain (IDK Euskotren, Bembibre, and Araski), and Russia (Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region and Enisey).

She won the Mexican LNBPF championship title in 2022 and was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Russian Superleague 1 Honorable Mention in 2017.
