AEK Larnaca adds Griffin to their roster, ex Al Hilal

Defending champion Petrolina AEK Larnaca (OPAP Basket League) added to their roster 28-year old American guard Nick Griffin (188cm-78kg-1995, college: St.Peter's) for new 2023-24 season. Griffin played last season at Al Hilal in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In only one West Asia Super League game he recorded very impressive stats: 22 points, 3 assists and 1 steal. He also played for Apollon in Greek GBL where in 22 games he had 10.5ppg and 1.5rpg.
Griffin is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Finland (Kataja), Sweden (Sodertalje), Cyprus (Omonia and Enosis Neon Paralimni) and The Basketball Tournament (Peacock Nation).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Griffin graduated from Saint Peter's University in 2018 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player. He played also for The George Washington University for 2 years.
