The 58years old American coach Aaron McCarthy takes over Al Ittihad Jeddah Club, He already arrived in Jeddah and started the preparations for season 2020-2021 which supposed to start on 7 December when Al Ittihad will face Al Fateh in the opening round.
Coach Aaron used to coach several clubs in the Middle East and Europe he coached Al Shurtah Police club in Iraq season 2018-2019 and led the club to win the regular season he also coached Al Ahli Club in Bahrain season 2017-2018 and finished the regular season with them in the 2nd position.
The experienced coach had over 23 years of experience in Europe where he coached several clubs in the top leagues of Belgium, Finland and Germany, he won the league title in Finland 3 times The Finnish Cup 2 times the league title in Belgium one time and the cup there 2 times without forgetting his two seasons in China where he led Parklane Donguan to win the China NBL title in 2009 and his success to led Fujian SBS XunXin to the CBA playoff season 2009-2010.
