Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) landed 29-year old American swingman Glen Rice Jr. (198-93kg-91, college: Georgia Tech).He was part of the Breakers for just two weeks when he was arrested on a charge of injuring with intent to injure following an incident outside an Auckland bar. The Breakers suspended Rice Jr indefinitely while the court process played out, but he was cleared to play in early December as the club battled injuries. Then, just two days after making his return, Rice Jr was arrested again for breaching bail conditions. Among other achievements Rice won Dominican Rep. LNB championship title in 2018. He received also Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Player of the Year award and Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Import Player of the Year award back in 2017. Rice is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Rice has played previously professionally in Argentina (Instituto), Bahrain (Al-Ahli), Israel (Hapoel Holon), Philippines (TNT Ka Tropa), Puerto Rico (Humacao), NBA (Washington Wizards), Mexico (Aaguacateros), Dominican Republic (Plaza and Reales de La Vega), NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants) and UBA (Georgia S.).
