Antonio Haymon (198-G/F-88, college: Lee) current player of Al Salam (Saudi Arabia-SBL) in an old interview:

Why you decided to be a pro player.

I decided to become a basketball player because as a kid growing up in Chicago I witnessed the era of Michael Jordan in Chicago living the greatest life, being a champion, while influencing the minds and hearts of people worldwide. I felt that I could grow up and do the same, become a champion, travel the world, while changing the hearts of fans and supporters around the globe.

There are many players without a job fighting for the same spots, how hard is to wait for your ideal offer and not take the first that comes up considering that the next one may not come soon.

It is very hard waiting for possible opportunities, a lot of guys have great seasons and want to take there career, game and salaries to the next level so they work with their agent as well as others to find the next best organization but we don't always get the offers we want so jumping into one can lead to slight regrets later, but if you are home later in the year you will have even bigger regrets. I have dealt with both sides of the spectrum and thru it all I say keep your focus and keep the faith.

Which was the best game you had in your career so far?

I would have to say the best game of my career so far was my First championship Game, I had 41 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assist we won and it was one of the greatest feelings of my life to have really worked the hardest in my life and achieve the goals I set for the season.

Tell us your strong point and your weakness in your game.

I believe my strength in the game of basketball is my ability to Affect the game, either in offense or defense I will find a way to impact the game. I believe my weakness would be guarding centers haha those guys are huge I don't enjoy that job very often.

Which player was the hardest opponent to play against?

I would have to say one of the hardest opponents to Play so far has been Christian Charles very athletic and quick 7 footer.

Tell about the best teammates you had so far.

Some of the best teammates I had so far would be from my championship team in Libya, they were a bunch of fun loving, easy going and hard working guys I really enjoyed being around.

Which coach you want to thank because he made you better player.
