Al Ahli Jeddah (SBL) inked 30-year old Jamaican ex-international power forward Adrian Forbes (211-116kg-88, college: Auburn, agency: Haylett Sports). He played most recently at Pelita Jaya in Indonesian IBL league. Forbes also spent pre-season at NLEX Road Warriors (PBA) in Filipino league.
In 2015 (three years after he left the college) Forbes was drafted by Canton Charge (D-League) in second round (34th overall).
He attended Auburn University until 2012 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Forbes received USBasket.com All-PBL Center of the Year award back in 2014.
He also represented Jamaica at the CBC Championships in Tortilla (BVI) ten years ago. Forbes' team won Gold and his stats at that event were : 4 games: 1.3ppg.
Forbes is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Forbes has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Dominican Rep., France (Cognac BB), Japan (Kagawa Five Arrows), Venezuela (Guaiqueries), Dominican Republic (Pueblo Nuevo) and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Drive).
His game is described as: A tough, athletic power forward with international experience and good skills at both sides of the court.

SBL Round 11 of Regular Season - 6 days ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The biggest surprise of round 11 was guest Al Ahli Jeddah's (7-4) road victory over Al Nasr (#5) 81-80 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Nasr. Al Ahli Jeddah moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Hilal. Al Nasr at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Ittihad. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Al Hilal (7-4) against sixth...   [read more]
