Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 8 in the SBL took place in Medina. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Al Ahli Jeddah (4-3) to eighth ranked Al Ansar (3-5) 80-77 on Tuesday evening. Al Ansar moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al Wehda. Al Ahli Jeddah at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Al Ansar is looking forward to face higher ranked Al Ittihad (#6) in Jeddah in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Al Ahli Jeddah will play at home against Al Wehda and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Uhud (8-0) which hosted in Medina 4th ranked Al Ittihad (4-4). Top-ranked Uhud managed to get a 14-point victory 77-63. Undefeated Uhud have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Al Ittihad at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Al Ittihad will play on the road against Al Ansar in Medina and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Al Nahda is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. They maintain second position with 6-1 record having just three points less than leader Uhud. Newly promoted Al Nahda still closes the standings with eight games lost. Al Fateh will meet at home league's leader Uhud in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Nahda will play against Al Hilal (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game between sixth ranked Al Nasr (4-4) and 7th ranked Al Wehda (3-5) in Riyadh ended with biggest points difference. Al Nasr outscored guests from Mecca 79-56.
