ZEKE MARSHALL

Al Nasr Riyadh (SBL) landed 28-year old American center Zeke Marshall (213-107kg-90, college: Akron). It is actually his comeback to Riyadh as he has played here before. Marshall already started the season at Moncton Magic in Canadian NBL. In 5 NBL Canada games he averaged 5.0ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.4bpg this season. The last summer Marshall played at Ram Nation in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013.
Among other achievements Marshall played in the final of Dubai International Tournament in 2015. He received also All-MAC Defensive Player of the Year award back in 2013 at his college time.
Marshall is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Marshall has played previously professionally in Belgium (Limburg United), France (Chalon/Saor), Lebanon (Sagesse), Poland, Taiwan (Yulon Luxgen), Saudi Arabia (Al Fateh) and NBA G League (Maine Red Claws and Grand Rapids Drive).
He attended University of Akron until 2013 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
Marshall is described as: Strong interior defender and dominate shot-blocker…boasts a 7-foot-5 wingspan and wears a size 18 shoe.

SBL Round 11 of Regular Season - 5 days ago
Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The biggest surprise of round 11 was guest Al Ahli Jeddah's (7-4) road victory over Al Nasr (#5) 81-80 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Al Nasr. Al Ahli Jeddah moved-up to third place, which they share with Al Hilal. Al Nasr at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Ittihad. Very important is a road loss of third ranked Al Hilal (7-4) against sixth...   [read more]
