Wayne Arnold
WAYNE ARNOLD

Al Nasr Riyadh (SBL) inked experienced 34-year old American swingman Wayne Arnold (198-93kg-84, college: Tennessee State). He played most recently at ASS Sale in Moroccan D1 league. He helped them to win the league title and the cup. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Afrobasket.com All-Moroccan League Import Player of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team.
The most of previous (2016-17) season Arnold spent at Al Gharafa (also in D1) in where in 14 games he averaged impressive 17.6ppg, 5.4rpg, 5.1apg and 2.0spg. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 2nd Team and All-Imports Team. Arnold also played for Al Ahly (Superleague) in league.
In 2006 he was drafted by Los Angeles D-Fenders (D-League) in seventh round (79th overall).
The former Tennessee State staris in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.
Arnold is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). Arnold has played previously professionally in Austria (Kapfenberg Bulls), Iceland, Japan (Niigata Albirex, Iwate Big Bulls and Shiga L-Stars) and UBA (GIE Maile Matrix).
His game is described as: Shooting guard with excellent range and amazing accuracy. Shows good athleticism and defensive skills.
