Malaysia - Cambodia 104-43
Malaysia opened win count in Nonthaburi. They stormed past Cambodia to improve at 1-1 record. Yii Yan Yew (172-PG-97) and Zhi Shin Chin (190-F-87) scored 19 points each for the winners. Malaysia went on a 44:24 first half run to clear off for good. Yi Hou Wong added 18 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Dar Antony Dominic (167-PG-94) answered with 19 points for Cambodia.

Singapore - Thailand 77-83 OT
Thailand survived an overtime thriller versus Singapore to gain the second straight win in the qualifiers. Tyler Lamb (196-G-91, college: Long Beach St.) recorded 27 points and 8 rebounds to pace the winning side. Singapore enjoyed a 6-point lead at the third break. But Thailand went on a 22:16 run in the fourth period to force overtime. The hosts followed with a 10:4 run in the extra period to ensure the winning outcome. Darongphan Apiromwilaichai (185-G-85) had 12 points for the winners. Wei Meng Kwek answered with 17 points for Singapore.

Brunei - Indonesia 54-116
Indonesia remained undefeated in Nonthaburi. They cruised past Brunei for 2-0 record. Andakara Dhyaksa (173-PG-92) chipped in 21 points to lead the winners. Indonesia accumulated a comfortable 53:31 halftime lead. Indonesia unleashed 63 points in the second half to ease to the win. Jamarr Johnson (193-F-88, college: Widener) had 18 points and 9 rebounds in the victory. Benjamin Sim (186-SF-85) scored 19 points for Brunei.
