Malaysia - Philippines 51-106
Philippines eased to the third consecutive victory in Manila. They stormed past Malaysia to stay perfect. Andray Blatche (211-F/C-86) and Jeth Troy Rosario (201-C-92) delivered 13 points each to pace well-balanced effort from the winners. Philippines accumulated a 61:26 halftime lead. They unloaded 45 points in the second half to seal the win. Matthew Wright (193-G-91, college: St.Bonaventure) and Terrence Bill Romeo (180-PG-92) delivered 12 points each in the victory. Yee Tong Heng (170-PG-98) replied with 12 points for Malaysia.

Myanmar - Vietnam 44-77
Vietnam opened win count at the tournament. They rallied past Myanmar for 1-1 record. Hung Nguyen Van came up with 22 points and 15 rebounds to pace the winners. Vietnam totally dominated the first half. They posted a comfortable 40:18 halftime lead. They went on a 27:11 run in the final term to ice the victory. Tran Vi Linh provided 18 points for Vietnam. Aung Wana (180-F-95) responded with 21 points for Myanmar.

Thailand - Indonesia 59-60
Indonesia nipped Thailand for the third straight victory in Manila. Sandy Kurniawan (190-SG-86) scored 17 points to lead the winners. Thailand eked out a 29:26 halftime lead. Indonesia used a 19:10 run in the third term to take a 6-point lead at the final break. Thailand dropped 20 points in the fourth term but could not avoid the loss. Christian Setipu (200-C-86) provided 9 points in the win. Chitchai Ananti (196-G/F-90) responded with 24 points for Thailand.
