Malaysia celebrated Gold medals at the 2015 SEA Games in Singapore. They beat Vietnam to improve at 4-1 record and clinched the top position. Kalaimathi Rajintiran (185-C-90) scored 14 points to pace the champions.
Malaysia built a 24:16 lead after the opening quarter. They stretched the gap at 19-point mark at the interval 41:22. Malaysia kept Vietnam at bay throughout the third term. They piled up a 58:36 advnatage at the final break and cruised to the victory afterwards. Mei Wong (159-G-91) had 10 points, while Hui Pin Pang (176-F-90) added 9 points for Malaysia. Nga Trat (163-G-88) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds for Vietnam. Bay Pham (165-G-93) netted 10 points in the loss.
