Indonesia - Singapore 70:61
Indonesia bounced back after the starting loss at the SEABA Championship. They fired past Singapore to improve at 1-1 record. Singapore in the meantime slipped at 0-2 record after the loss. Wati led the effort with 25 points.
It was not an easy game for Indonesia. Singapore pulled ahead early in the game. They posted a 17:12 lead ten minutes into the game. Singapore did not surrender the lead in the second frame. They arrived at the big break up by two points 34:32. Singapore boosted the lead to six points before Indonesia finally showed their ambitions. They denied the deficit and pulled in front for a 49:45 lead at the final intermission. Indonesia stayed calm and executed well enough to post the victory. Christaline accounted for 17 points. Siswari netted 12 points for Indonesia. Tan Jun Wei (183-F-94) replied with 15 points for Singapore. Ang had 13 points in defeat.

Thailand - Malaysia 78:64
Thailand earned the first win at the SEABA championship. They held off Malaysia in Manila. Naruemol Banmoo (185-C-87) knocked down 17 points to lead the Thai team. Malaysia fell at 1-1 record after the defeat.
Malaysia got to the better start of the encounter. They led by four points ten minutes into the game 21:17. But Thailand turned things upside down in the second quarter. They outgunned Malaysia to post a 10-point lead at the interval. Thailand stretched the margin to 13 points at the final break. Malaysia worked hard in the final period but could not come any closer and had to surrender at the end. Panurasthanon delivered 15 points for Thailand. Chonticha Chirdpetcharat (174-F-81) and Penphan Yothanan (169-C-83) accounted for 10 points each in the win. Suik May Kew (172-F-82) answered with 17 points for Malaysia. Woon Yuen Teo (163-G-85) nailed 16 points in the loss.
