Philippines edged Vietnam 118-87 on Thursday night. Alicia Castillo top-scored for the winners with 25 points, while Afril Bernardino (165-G-1991) and Gabriell Somera netted 14 each. Izabel Policarpio scored 11 points in the winning effort. My Truong Thao (2001) replied with 30 in a loss and Jones Mailee (1998) brought 29.
