Al Rayyan made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Al Ahli was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Latvian Rolands Freimanis (209-1988) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. American guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners.
