Al Arabi inks Donte McGill, ex Al Wahda

In 2017 he was drafted by Lakeland Magic (G-League) in fourth round (81st overall).

The former Florida International University standout is in his ninth season in pro basketball.

McGill is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). McGill has played professionally in Kazakhstan (Barsy Atyrau), Lebanon, Poland (Stal), Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr and Al Wehda), Qatar (Al Wakrah) and NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats).
He won Syrian League championship title in 2024.
McGill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. He played for other colleges like: Vincennes University, Goldey-Beacom College.
